A 15-minute walk brings you to the Postojna caves and it's also close to the bus station, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. It's relatively close to the train station as well. The building divides its resources between being a school for forestry/woodworking and a youth hostel. The hostel has been renovated few years ago and feeling of new is following you around the whole place. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable with lots of closet space. They have only three beds, so it is pretty comfortable. You can also book a twin or single room. The common bathroom and shower facilities are clean and separated between men and women. The shared kitchen is well equipped and a great place to make new friends. It's also spacious so you're not cooking on top of each other. There are computers free to use at the lounge area.
