50 Stunning Photos Of The Slovenian Alps By An Avid Hiker Jerneja Fidler Pompe

An adventurer by heart, Jerneja Fidler Pompe loves nothing more than to hit a dusty trail and explore the unknown. Jerneja, or Neja as her friends call her, follows her heart to the smallest and the highest mountains on well-known and unknown trails in this small, yet insanely diverse land. With more than 10,000 marked hiking trails and 352 mountains over 2,000 m, 1,300 lakes, 10,000 caves, virgin forests, and, on top of that, an island, Slovenia has given her the inspiration for photography, blogging and lately even outdoor tourism.

Namely, the love for nature has made Neja leave her office job after twelve years working as a blog editor and social media manager for a renowned IT company, and open her own outdoor agency Exploring Slovenia, where Neja also offers a wide range of hiking and climbing tours in Slovenia.
