About The Photographer

Jaka Ivancic is an established landscape photographer who also specialises in food and events photography. Born and raised in Coastal Slovenia’s largest town, Koper, he is currently living in in the small seaside town of Ankaran in the south west of Slovenia, but travelling all around the region, always chasing after the best shots in stunning environments. As a freelancer, Jaka is always working on several different projects, one of them is being the official photographer and video producer for one of the biggest radio stations in Slovenia, Radio Capris.

Jaka’s connection to the Slovenian Istria began the moment he was born and the more Jaka experiences this region, the further he falls in love. When Jaka is behind his camera, his goal is to bring out the beauty of coastal Slovenian and its surrounding area for all to see. The coastal towns of Piran, Izola and Koper and the beautiful Mediterranean nature that surrounds these towns are Jaka’s playground where he takes most of his photos.
