About The Kozjak Waterfall
Waterfall Kozjak is considered as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Slovenia. What makes this remarkable waterfall so unique and photogenic is a delightful emerald green pool at its base. The waterfall is located at the edge of the Triglav National Park, some 4 kilometres (2,5 miles) northeast of the town of Kobarid in northwestern Slovenia. A moderate 20 minute walk from the parking lot will bring you to the base of the waterfall. Kozjak is at its fullest in spring and early summer and a must see attraction for anyone visiting the Kobarid area.
