The Bled’s well-stocked tourist information centre is the best place to begin a visit to Lake Bled. The helpful staff can provide a wealth of information on all of the sights both in the town and the surrounding countryside, and various souvenirs, postcards, books and maps are also available for purchase in addition to free brochures and other handouts. Visitors can also arrange walking tours with knowledgeable local guides.

Yes, there’s a shuttle bus that connects Bled castle – Vintgar Gorge – Pokljuka daily from 27.04–05.05. and from 15.06.–15.09.
Question. We will be traveling from Villach by bus or train. We will not have a lot of time. How do we get to the place where boats go to the island from either from Bus station or train station in Lesca?
From the Bled bus station it’s about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Pletna boats, from the train station you must go on a bus and go down at the Mlino bus stop.
