Some good news about coronavirus situation in Slovenia. According to official statistics, Slovenia is defeating the coronavirus.
Slovenia recorded 1,021 cases of the coronavirus and 30 deaths as of April 6, much fewer than its neighbors Italy and Austria. More than 14,000 per one million people (28,253) in Slovenia’s population of two million have been tested. The growth rate of daily new infections has already decreased and with the number of coronavirus-related hospitalisations and deaths stabilising, the Slovenian government said it would start gradually lifting its lockdown after Easter if the numbers of cases and deaths remained stable.

Stay strong and healthy.
Looks like anyone that was in the ICU ended up dying ? And that number is 30% of the infected people ? Looks like the lethality is worse.
Thats because the majority of people infected here are very old people in nursing homes.
Deaths are more than 90% of very old and ill people from nursing homes.
Great. Can we send Melania back now?
The Netherlands is as well, it went down by a lot too!
Almost every country except the US is beating it.
The US is exceeding expectations and modeling on the positive side. Not sure why so many people think the US is failing at this. Our federal response has been lackluster, but states and individuals have done a good enough job at social distancing to seemingly keep this from getting completely out of control (it’s still bad though)
We have absolutely reduced the R0 number, but it is still above 1. We’ve slowed down the growth, but other countries have caused it to decline.
So nice to hear that. The graphs look really great.
The masks have been mandatory in public places for a while now and I saw people wearing them even before. I think we are on a good path.
Right, Slovenia, that is next door to the most infected area of Italy is fine.
And the quarantine orders were not even that strict. gg for good social distancing amongst all of the population
