It's newly furnished to a high standard and immaculate. The beds are comfortable and the linens are a nice quality. The owner is friendly and accommodating and also very knowledgeable about what to see and do in the Idrija area and can give you lots of great information. The free Wi-Fi works excellent and there is free private parking next to the apartment. Overall, this is a great place in every aspect and we highly recommend it to couples looking for a self catering apartment in this part of the world. NA KUPCKU ESTATE Idrija, Slovenia Na Kupcku Estate is a charming accommodation located in a quiet and very beautiful area amidst nature, about 15 minutes drive to Idrija. The property is well maintained and surrounding is gorgeous. The apartment is immaculately clean, tidy and very comfortable. The kitchen is really extremely well stocked with anything you might need if you plan to cook in. Breakfast is optional but served with a smile and good selection. The views from the terrace are wonderful and peaceful. There is also a beautiful garden with many herbs and vegetables. The owners are friendly and care that your stay is comfortable. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and the parking is free too. The price is at the high-end compared to other places to stay in the Idrija area, but still well worth the money spent. IDRIJA – a town of mercury, lace and zlikrofi Idrija is a lovely small town with a population of just under 6,000 in western Slovenia that lies at the base of a valley, amid green hills and is crossed by the Idrijca river. It has a typical central-European architecture and you can see a strong influence of the Austro-Hungarian empire, especially in the town's main buildings. Today, Idrija is best known for three things: a mercury mine (the reason for Idrija's spot on UNESCO's World Heritage list), intricate locally made lace and zlikrofi (a traditional Slovenian dish from Idrija).
