Hostels in Izola that we think are the best and worth staying at

Izola hostels are the cheapest kind of accommodation you can find in town, but be prepared for the lack of privacy and quiet. Especially when you are coming with a partner and need a room just for yourself, or like a private bathroom. In this case consider to book some hotel room instead.

Izola hostels offer housing where a number of people share the same room (or a dorm) and the bathrooms are shared too. Most of the hostels in Izola also feature a common eating room, lockers, some board and card games, and free Wi-Fi. Izola hostels are therefore a good option for travelers and backpackers on limited budget. They are also a very good place to meet some fellow travelers.

Hostels in Izola that we recommend
HOSTEL ALIETI
Izola, Slovenia

Hostel Alieti is a wonderful and modern hostel situated in a renovated old building right in the heart of Izola, in the old town, with plenty of bars/cafes and restaurants nearby and only about a 5 minute walk from the main public beach in Izola. it's a relatively new hostel, opened in 2013, but has quickly gained the reputation of being one of the best budget places to stay on the Slovenian coast. The rooms are large enough and spotless - there are 2 or 3 bunk beds in each room. The bathrooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast is basic with two fresh croissants and coffee, tea or juice. The common kitchen is well equipped and there is also a nice terrace. The staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The free WiFi works excellent with more than adequate signal strength. All in all, Alieti is truly one of the best examples of a hostel.

HOSTEL IZOLA
Izola, Slovenia

Hostel Izola is a lovingly run hostel situated right in the centre of the town - couldn't be any closer for shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, and of course the harbour and beaches. The building is full of character with a warm and inviting common area and a very nice on site bar with great atmosphere and reasonable prices. They have both private and dormitory rooms and they are very considerate in trying to give each guest a private dorm or room when the hostel is not fully booked. The rooms are cleaned every day and kept very tidy and the shared bathroom was in all honesty the cleanest hostel bathroom we've ever seen. There's no breakfast, but there are many options around the corner. The staff are really nice and fun, knowledgeable and obviously love working at the hostel. Their suggestions on what to do and see and where to eat are great. The free wifi is a bit slow, but works fine. The free use of bicycles is another nice touch.

Slovenia’s coastline lays on the beuatiful Adriatic Sea, but despite its short length of a little more than 45 kilometres, it’s very attractive and every one of the towns along it has a distinctive and different character and layout.
