Javorniski Rovt Is Again Covered In A Beautiful White Blanket Of Daffodils

Despite the rainy, cloudy weather, many nature lovers and photographers are visiting Javorniski Rovt in the Karavanke mountain range to enjoy an explosion of thousands of white wild-growing daffodils.

Javorniski Rovt is a small mountain village in the Karavanke mountain range above the town of Jesenice in northwestern Slovenia, near the Austrian border. Every spring in the month of May, the meadows around the village get covered in a beautiful white blanket of daffodils.

But hurry – the daffodils will start to die after just two to three weeks, giving you only a short window to admire them. (photo: Bostjan Hribar)
