 Bled, Slovenia   Apartments Vila Marjetica is attractive and well maintained accommodation in a great location on a quiet side street just up the hill from the lake and has a lovely little garden. It's only a 5 to 10 minute walk down to the lake and the center of Bled with many restaurants, bars and cafes. There is also a nice supermarket and a fantastic bakery one minute walk. The building itself is immaculately clean, tidy and extremely well maintained, There are 4 apartments in the building and each one is decorated in a different color (red, green, blue and yellow). All apartments are very comfortable, spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchens are very well equipped with everything that you might possibly need to make your meals there. The bathrooms are modern and quite large with a large shower and good water pressure. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and pillows are lovely. There are lots of English channels on TV. Each apartment also has a good size balcony or terrace with comfortable chairs to relax. There is a lovely garden with beautiful vine covered pergola. The owners are a lovely couple, Matej and Maja, who live in the upstairs. They are very welcoming and informative with lots of suggestions on places to eat and things to see and do. There's even a folder in each apartment with everything you need to know about the Lake Bled area. The WiFi works very well and is remarkably fast. There is adequate free parking available on site too. All-in-all great quality accommodation that is well located, suited to couples and families. This wonderful villa is located in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by trees and gardens. The walk down to the lake and back is easy and only about 10 minutes. A nice supermarket and a very inviting bakery/cafe are just a few steps away. The building and the grounds are in fantastic shape, There are a number of different apartments and rooms available in the building. They are of different shapes and size, but this is part of the unique charm and character of the building. Everything is spotless clean and the decor is true to the Art Nouveau style and truly beautiful. The apartments are spacious, bright with all comforts of home. The beds are great and crisp sheets welcome your sleep experience. The bathrooms are high end and modern and the towels are large and fluffy. The kitchens are equipped with all the essentials, making it very convenient to prepare a meal or heat up some leftovers. The breakfast is also available, but it is not included in the rate. Family members who manage the premises are always available and ready to help and share information on local restaurants, touring and history. There is a fabulous large garden out the back with plenty of deck chairs to sit and enjoy the sun. The parking is free and there are enough spaces on the premises. The free WiFi works well and fast. | Bled, Slovenia  Apartments Vila Cvetka Bled is a charming family run accommodation consisting of the main building and two lovely cottages. The location is fabulous with a short walk to a bakery and coffee bar, many restaurants and of course Lake Bled. The premises is well maintained and surrounded by gorgeous garden areas. There are 6 apartments available, 4 in the main building, one in the large cottage and one in the smaller cottage. The cottages are absolutely beautiful, very authentic but with a modern twist with lovely little terraces. The main building is very nice as well and all the apartments are air conditioned and tastefully decorated with all the amenities one would expect. The beds are comfortable and pillows are soft. The linens are clean and smell good. Even though the kitchens are on the smaller side they have everything you might need to cook a meal. The bathrooms are modern with a large bath tub or a walk in shower. The towels are nice and thick. The balconies are perfect for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine or a beer in the afternoon or morning sun. The views are great too. The owner Jani is extremely welcoming and very helpful. He is very knowledgeable about the area and will give you great advice and tips on all the things to see and do in the area, as well as recommendations for local restaurants. There is plenty of parking spaces on the property. The free WiFi is fast but the signal is rather weak in some areas of the apartments. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in Bled. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk away from the lake and main part of Bled with its many restaurants, bars/cafes and shops, without being right in the centre of all the hustle and bustle. The setting is perfect for peace and quiet. The property is well kept inside and out. There are two apartments in the house and both are spacious and well presented, equipped with all the necessary items to make your stay as comfortable as your own home. The beds are comfortable, bedrooms are quiet for restful sleep. The kitchens are fairly well-equipped but unfortunately without an oven - there is only a microwave and hob regarding cooking food. The bathrooms are modern and nicely appointed and have great showers. The air condition works well and the free WiFi is excellent and fast, the signal is good even outside. There's a nice garden where you can do barbecue and there's even a swing set and trampoline for the kids and a pony and goat too. The owner Viktorija is an excellent hostess, very friendly, accommodating and clearly enjoys welcoming visitors to Bled. Parking is free and easy and there are also bikes you can use for free. The house seems to be a bit far away from the lake and the centre of Bled, but it's actually only a 15-20 minute walk away and thankfully, not on the main road into Bled, which gets very busy and noisy. There is a supermarket and a bakery about 5-10 minutes walk away which are very convenient for picking up groceries. The property is well maintained and very pleasing and welcoming. The house is quite large and has a number of apartments and rooms available and they come in different sizes. The apartments are beautifully appointed with everything that one needs for a self catering holiday and lots of special little touches. The beds are comfortable and provide a good night's rest. Most bathrooms are small, but functional and very clean. Water pressure is fine and water temperature is consistent during showers. The kitchens are well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave and several small appliances like a blender, toaster and coffee maker, and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Each apartment also has a balcony, but some balconies are bigger than others. There are picnic tables in the garden that you are welcome to use. The owner Natalija and other family members live next door and are very friendly and helpful, They also have a couple of bikes that can be hired for a fee much lower than in the hire shops, which is great. The free WiFi is a bit weak in some of the apartments, hopefully the Kristan family will invest in a signal booster or a better router. There's enough parking space available for all guests on the premises. All in all, a great place to stay in Bled. It is a short 5 minute walk to the lake (downhill) and an even shorter walk to the nearest supermarket. It's also within easy walking distance to two very good restaurants, a couple of bars/cafes and shops and also the Bled Castle. The house is very attractive, both outside and inside. It is spotless, everything is perfectly clean and tidy. There are three apartments/studios in the house, all nicely decorated, modern and very comfortable. The decor is modern and light, unlike many properties in Bled which are more traditional and dark-wood style. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and pillows are lovely. The bathrooms are very modern and stylish, with glass standing showers and endless hot water. The kitchens are rather small but well equipped with all appliances, dishes, pans and some basic condiments and spices. The owners, Tomaz and Marion, are very welcoming and friendly and really helpful in providing information about the local area. Free WiFi s fast and it works all the time. The free private parking is also a plus. If you don't like a box hotel room and want a home from home, this is definitely one of the best places for you in Bled. The location is great, within very easy walking distance to the lake and the castle and there's a grocery store and three restaurants less than 5 minutes away. The house is extremely well appointed for a rental property and well kept. The apartments feel absolutely new, they are beautifully furnished and have everything that you need to self cater, including kitchens with all the utensils needed for cooking. The beds are very comfortable, the windows are well-insulated against noise, and the bedding is of great quality. The bathrooms are very modern and the showers are great with plenty of hot water and fantastic water pressure. Both apartments also have a balcony with great views of the mountains in the distance. The owners are a young couple, Ksenja and Vasiliy, and they are very friendly and accommodating and also very knowledgeable about what to see and do in the area and can give you lots of great information. The location of the property is brilliant: only a short walk from the lake about 7-10 minutes and situated close to a mini supermarket and 2 minutes from a lovely bakery - ideal for a morning pastry to accompany your coffee. The building is very attractive and the interior is charming. There are three apartments in the villa, all furnished to a high standard with many nice touches. The beds are really comfortable, with lovely cotton bed linen. The kitchens are stocked with all the utensils and appliances you could possibly need to prepare a delicious family meal.
