Pri Lazarju Farm Stay is a charming small farm with chickens, geese, cows, donkeys, goats, pigs, rabbits, sheep and a friendly dog. The location is spectacular, on the top of a hill but just 15 minutes drive from Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. The farm has an amazing elevated view of Ljubljana and the surrounding countryside. It's a beautiful, quiet place with farm animals for the kids to see and pat, A car is definitely a must to get you up and down the hill. Everything on the farm is well maintained and it is obvious that hosts Milan and Mateja take a great deal of care in how their farm is presented. They are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are nice and simple with comfortable beds and each room has a modern private bathroom. The breakfast is delicious and rich and the food is all homemade, homegrown and freshly prepared (eggs, cheese, jams, cold meats, sausages, apple juice, etc.). There is a nice playground for the kids to enjoy and a nice forest behind the house with great walks and beautiful views. The free WiFi works surprisingly well and there's ample free parking space available. All in all, a wonderful farm stay, the hosts are very friendly, the location is great for getting into Ljubljana, the rooms are a little basic but clean and comfortable, and there is plenty on the farm to keep you occupied.

Tourist Farm Ljubica is a lovely farm surrounded by green woods and meadows, very peaceful, idyllic place. When you first arrive the image of the farm is breathtaking, like a fairytale. In terms of location is nicely placed between Slovenia's capital Ljubljana and Lake Bled. It is remote and you definitely need a car to reach the farm, but for many this adds to the appeal of the place. The farm is very well maintained and the animals are in good shape which adds to the experience. There are horses, cows, hens and sheep and to be able to feed, hold and pat the animals is such a joyous experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and very lovely and the bathroom is modern and clean. The breakfast is amazing with local food, produced on the farm. Everything is fresh and there is plenty of choice. Ljubica and her husband are very kind hosts and will do everything to make sure you are comfortable. The ample free parking is available. There is free WiFi but the signal is very weak and it is very slow, but you go there to appreciate nature and it is a fantastic break from city life and the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. You will just love the serenity, peace, fresh mountain air, animals, and friendly people at the farm.
