One of Slovenia’s most beautiful and impressive natural sights, Tolmin Gorge, is open to public again today!
Tolmin Gorge is a breathtaking 1,000 meters long, between 5 and 10 meters wide and up to 60 meters deep gorge situated at the southern-most portion of the Triglav National Park in northwestern Slovenia. It has been carved out by the Tolminka and Zadlascica rivers.
The entrance fee is €6 – €10 for adults, depending on the season. The price is highest during July and August. The gorge is open every day from 9:00 to 19:00, longer during the summer months (8:30 to 20:00 June 1st through August 31st).
To walk the entire Tolmin Gorge and visit all of the viewpoints, it takes about two hours. (photo: Michael Matti, Slovenia.info)
