Iconic Church On Bled Island As Seen By Visitors To Bled (15 photos)

The Church of the Mother of God on the Lake is a picture-perfect church on the tiny island in the middle of Lake Bled that you see from pretty much everywhere as you walk around the lake. Visitors to Bled like to capture it in all the classic frames – from across the lake, from the viewpoints, and from the castle.

The Church of the Mother of God on the Lake is the most recognisable symbol of the Bled island and if you ring the bell three times you’ll get some luck, if you believe in that kind of stuff.
