About The Lipica Stud Farm

The Lipica Stud Farm is the cradle of the famous and elegant Lipizzan horse, a breed which dates back to the 16th century.

The stud farm is located in the village of Lipica in southwestern Slovenia. It is one of the oldest stud farms in the world with a tradition dating back to 1580!
