The location is really nice, only 5 minutes walk from the main public beach in Portoroz. The apartments are spacious and well furnished. Bathrooms are small but modern and everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchens are well equipped should you decide you want to prepare your own meals. The beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. Almost all rooms have fantastic views over the sea. Nina, the owner, is very kind and always willing to help and give you advice on where to eat and what to see. The free Wi-Fi works brilliantly and there is free private parking for a couple of cars on a lower level right next to the house. Common laundry facilities are available too. APARTMENT VRENJAK Portoroz, Slovenia Apartment Vrenjak is located a five minute walk from the seafront (be warned, it's a steep one) where there are many good restaurants, bars/cafes and a nice supermarket, as well as the main bus stand for the centre of Portoroz. The whole place is well kept and you can tell there's a lot of pride that goes in to it. There are actually two apartments available for rent in the house, both furnished with everything you need and some extras that you usually don't find in other apartments in Portoroz. You'll have a wonderful terrace/balcony, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a well stocked bathroom. Given its location and relative height, you have fantastic views over the sea. The owner, Danijela, is friendly and accommodating, and knowledgeable about local attractions and restaurants. The free wifi is available but the signal is variable and sometimes pretty weak. The free on-site parking is a plus. MARINA PORTOROZ - RESIDENCE Portoroz, Slovenia Marina Portoroz - Residence is in a nice location on the sea front, about a five minutes pleasant walk along the seaside to all the restaurants, bars/cafes and shops in Portoroz. The setting overlooking the marina is gorgeous, especially the sunsets are wonderful. There are three apartments in the complex - they are all spacious and modern with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including comfortable beds, quality linen, well equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. The staff are friendly but not overly helpful. There's a nice swimming pool area. There is no Wi-Fi, only wired connection in the apartments. Free private parking is available on the premises. The apartments have been recently renovated and look very nice - they are nicely appointed, modern, airy and very clean and have everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay in Portoroz. The kitchens are well equipped. The bathrooms are a little on the small side but perfectly adequate. The owner is friendly and easy to work with. There is no free WiFi, only paid WiFi available for €5 a day. Free private parking is available just outside the house. A beautiful view of the sea from some of the apartments, especially balconies. The place is extremely maintained and has beautiful landscaping around. The apartments are modern, have great bathrooms and nice kitchens, and are very clean. There's a wonderful outdoor sitting area with a beautiful view of the sea. The owners, a nice older couple, are friendly and have a welcoming nature. The free wifi and free private parking are also a plus. The beach is about 5-7 minutes walk away and there are many cafes/bars and restaurants nearby. The apartments are quite large and well equipped and very well maintained. Very good value for money. The beds are incredibly comfortable with good quality linens. The kitchens are fairly small but have plenty of supplies if you want to cook anything. The bathrooms are spacious with all the up-to-date amenities that you expect. The owner Ivanka is super friendly and sweet, she doesn't speak English but makes efforts to communicate. The free wifi works just fine and free private parking is available too. MAYGUT APARTMENTS AND ROOMS Portoroz, Slovenia Maygut Apartments and Rooms are located on a small hill above Portoroz, about 8 minutes walk from the centre of Portoroz, so it's peaceful whilst still being close to everything in Portoroz. The walk is all downhill which means uphill when you return back to the property and it's a pretty steep climb back so it's not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems or anyone wearing high heels. The place is actually two buildings separated by a parking lot. The apartments are newly renovated and are very pleasant on the eyes, comfortable and just shipshape. The owner and staff are very friendly and are a pleasure to deal with. There's a wonderful terraced garden where guests can relax and have a drink or breakfast. The free WiFi works well throughout the property. APARTMENTS OSTANEK Portoroz, Slovenia Apartments Ostanek are situated on a hill above Portoroz, about ten minutes walk to the beach and all local amenities. You walk downhill to the beach and so this means a walk uphill when you return. Not a huge hill, some steps, some slopes. but definitely an incline. There are two apartments available for rent and both are beautifully furnished and very comfortable with all you need away from home. Everything looks brand new and is in top-notch condition - comfortable beds, fully fitted kitchen with appliances, pots, crockery and cutlery, and nice modern bathroom. Given its location and relative height, there are some extraordinary beautiful views over the sea. The place is well kept and everything is super clean. The owners are really kind and will try to satisfy your needs. The free wifi signal is strong and fast enough. APARTMENTS VILA TONI Portoroz, Slovenia Apartments Vila Toni is situated on a hill in a residential area between Portoroz and Piran and one can walk to both in about 15 minutes - it's a very pleasant walk along the seafront in both directions. The views down to the sea from the garden are overwhelming, really beautiful. The apartment is simply but tastefully decorated and fully equipped. It's clean, comfortable, well fitted out and with every kitchen implement you could imagine. The bathroom is a bit outdated yet clean. Toni and his delightful mother are excellent hosts, welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The free WiFi only works in some places outside the apartment, and even then the signal is weak and sometimes completely missing. Free private parking is available.
