  1. Best in Europe? Ummm Iceland, Faroe Islands, Andorra, Montenegro, Liechtenstein, Isle of Man, etc. Not even close Slovenia.

  2. Amazing what a country can do if they take the virus seriously. Good work Slovenia. Surely there will be more cases, but you can keep it under control and maintain your economy.

    1. Don’t help much when other nations are at the height. Just takes one traveler and we are if to the races again. South Korea and China are seeing clusters again.

  3. Home grown Slovenian here! Super pleased with this outcome as I was fearing for the worst and the impact this might have on our nation. It truly is heartbreaking seeing some of the damage across the globe, I can’t help but feel so lucky to be Slovenian.

  4. Reading about these success stories and everything they did just makes our (US) situation that much more infuriating. Slovenia didn’t have people rejecting their scientists and purposely spreading the virus? How did you manage to silence the morons?

    1. Yes we are a smaller population and more spread out, but I believe our relative success is because of good crisis management and community minded spirit.

  5. HELL YEAH! I’m so glad. My family there is sending me all kinds of pictures of them out in the sunshine exploring parts of Slovenia that are usually clustered with tourists; I’m happy they got a chance to actually enjoy stuff in their own country without having to dodge a bajillion tourists.

I was going to be there this June, but I’m thinking maybe next May/June I can go instead so I can see everyone. This gives me hope.

  6. I’m so proud of our country. People might not like our current leadership but politics aside I think they’ve done a great job of reacting to and controlling this crisis.

    1. Amen, this is not the time for politics world-wide, but many countries are treating it that way…. They won’t even tell us to cover our face in the UK….
