About The Tolmin Gorge

Tolmin Gorge or Tolminska Korita as it is called in Slovene is an incredible gorge located in the southern tip of Triglav National Park, only 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) north of the town of Tolmin and some 100 kilometres (62 miles) northwest of Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana. The 1-kilometre gorge offers spectacular views on the water and some waterfalls. Some will tell you that you can walk through the gorge within an hour and no doubt you can, but to really see the beauty of this gorge allow more time to stroll along the pathways, stop and take in the breathtaking scenery. Definitely a must see natural attraction for anyone visiting the Bovec, Kobarid and Tolmin area!
