Kozjansko and Obsotelje is a very scenic but still undiscovered hilly region in the far eastern part of Slovenia. It’s an area of rolling hills, vineyards, forests and scattered farms located along the eastern side of the Posavje Mountains and the Sotla River.
Kozjansko and Obsotelje is a gorgeous area but sadly really underrated. It definitely deserves to be more widely known among international travellers. It has a lot to offer its visitors in the way of spas, castles, cycling, hiking, and great wine.
