Photos: Kranjska Gora Covered In Snow In The Winter

Kranjska Gora in winter is beautiful. You must have heard this a hundred times, but honestly, Kranjska Gora looks magical when covered in snow in the winter. It will indeed be cold, but winter is possibly the best time to visit this lovely alpine village situated in the far northwestern corner of Slovenia, to enjoy skiing or to just enjoy the magic of the ‘holiday season’ and then grasp the beauty of fresh snow and admire the village covered in snow.

Winter in Kranjska Gora includes the months of December, January, and February. However, since weather and seasons are getting more and more unpredictable, the chilly winter weather may start as early as November and continue all the way through to mid (or even late) March.
